Print Art

 

The exalted art of Print Making is as old as the human civilization. Making or creating any impression, can be conceived as a 'Print'.The transferrance of one image onto another surface is known as 'Print Making'.We can also reproduce an image in multiples and that is known as 'Editioning'.
Earlier, Print Techiniques were widely used to reproduce religious work. That is, it played a crusader role in didactic dissemination of sermons and icons. The advent of Industrial Revolution however, got Artists interested in Print Making, as never before. This autonomous medium with its evident utility of 'mass production', gave a novel flip to this Creative Art.
In this Course ,we will teach all the techniques, both in colour and black-and-white.
This speciality of Visual Art in the commercial world, offers a special alcove for skilled creativity. It's employability in the Print Industry, is also very obvious.

DRAWING
An exposure to advanced drawing

help you to reach a platform of professional finesse that permeates your entire print work production.
  
  DESIGN & COMPOSITION
This subject involves a three-dimensional creation of original, atypical or non-archetypal Designs.We also learn to arrange and interplay visual elements with applied principles ,for innovative results.		  
  PRINT MAKING
The actual techniques are imparted in systematic and studied methodology. They include: relief, intaglio, stencil and other materiae media. An added asset is that famous and noted Artists from the 'Print Makers Collective', are personally involved in teaching this subject.
