Media Communication

Media is the potent power, in dissemination of news and information.
A sound knowledge of the principles of communication and the selection of appropriate mediums, has thus become very important, in the global scenario.  Our curriculum therefore, had to be  devised, to cover all aspects of Media. Our aim is to make student imbibe the most and the best, during her training period.
Students learn details about the regular Print Media, alongwith advanced Electronic Media (including those of audio-visual,i.e. : television and video.)with expertise. Exposure is also given in computer presentations and on-line journalism.

The Department lays a special emphasis upon practical learning. This is  by application and usage of Campus Editing Labs, Recording Studios and  Outdoor/Outstation visits,  apart from class room modules. We also have, eminent lectures from Media Professionals.
We are proud to find that our students have got placements, in exclusive channels and dailies. They   have   also   been   appointed  in  multi-media companies apart from making waves, as free-lance journalists.
