        Interior Design is a highly popular vocation. Hence, our foremost aim has been to focus only upon relevant modules and subjects.
        Our Curriculum is structured to transform space, in a professional style. To enhance the aesthetics, as well as functional value of spaces. In this age of constrained floor areas, assiduous professional space management, is needed. A trained and experienced Interior Designer, can only meet that challenge.
        The students are guided through their training, by experienced specialists and qualified faculty, from within the Industry. The input of theoretical knowledge, trains students to do practical projects, with expertise. The learning takes place through the linkage of subjects and an effective innovative
manner of Project Integration.
        Various kinds of Interior Spaces are dealt with These includes: residential, commercial, leisure and that of entertainment. Design solutions, to deal with space planning, materials, quantity and costing of the projects, are deduced by professed managerial skills.
       At the end of their training, students are employed in Design Firms, Furniture Stores, Hotels, Restaurants Chains and Textile Manufacturing Units. Also, for Exhibitions, employment in display and set-design jobs are given. Many are self-employed and set up their own Consultancy.
      All our training is imparted through the full time Academic Programmes of: One Year, Two Years and Three Years.

Subject Details

BASIC DESIGN: The fundamentals of freehand illustration and the basics about aesthetics. The various colour schemes applicable to interior spaces.

HISTORY OF INTERIORS & FURNITURE: It is the study of evolution of furniture styles, through the pages of history. The different periods and styles of interiors are also taught.

THESIS: This is a culmination of knowledge & practices gleaned during the two years. Students have to make a research-oriented topical study. It involves an amalgam of specific specialised subjects.

INTERIOR DESIGN/DRAFTING: The understanding of Interior spaces. To develop design ideas/ concepts by analyzing the function of space. To then evolve ideal design solutions. Preparation of presentation & working drawings for the design schemes.

DISPLAY: A creative medium to sell ideas, services & products. These range from contemporary ideas of display of shop, windows, shop Interior And Exhibitions.

FURNISHINGS AND FITTING: The fabric selection for curtains & upholstery. Co-ordinating the fabric with interior designs in an aesthetic manner.

CONSTRUCTION: The basic knowledge of building elements like walls, openings, roofs, stairs. This includes construction techniques & designing of structures like: partitions, paneling and false ceilings.

FURNITURE DESIGN: The study, evaluation & creation of designer furniture in both nouveau and traditional trends, by observing existing furniture design.

GRAPHICS: To develop freehand sketching skills that lead to drawing presentation. How to make the colour schemes with visual appeal for stylish interiors.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AND ESTIMATION: The study of code of conduct, by-laws & evaluation related to interior spaces. The Tender work for large/mega projects are also discussed.

MATERIALS: The properties, rates, features of all natural/manmade materials used in building and the interior structure are studied.

SERVICES: The principles of building services like water supply, drainage, air-conditioning and lighting. We study how to relate them to interior schemes and cost plans for the same.
