FASHION SHOW


                  The Fashion Design Department are pioneers in this field. They were the first to commence programme in this field, in the capital city. The annual Fashion Presentation/Ramp walk of the seniormost students,is a much awaited media event.
The Polytechnic is also always, proud to realise that there are so many sister fields as well, in the Campus. For example: Textile &Apparel Design, Jewellery Design, Beauty Cosmetology &Hair Styling, Dept.of Event Management &Performing Art. Interior Design, Holistic Health & Fitness etc.
                  They all come together in a happy confluence to contribute and host the Poly’s Fashion Show. If we scroll down,we can see that trends and themes may have varied over the years. However ,the spirit of creativity and flame of enduring enterprise has shone in  a steady stream,down the river of time.

    2011              -          JUTE GOES GLOBAL

    South Delhi Polytechnic for Women under “UKIERI” project with the  theme “JUTE” project a fashion presentationin British Council on 18 feb’ 2011 . The presentation was organized by Fashion Design Department . The show was enhanced by a 'Danse de Overture' by Event Management & Performing Arts students of SDPW.

South Delhi polytechnic for women the largest and the most famous institution for its multifarious disciplines / vocations in the city.Fashion Design being the most popular in the campus, every year as a culture of the department unfolds the unusual fashion presentation. The present final year batch of the department has organize a fashion presentation titled – “Flaunting Folds” the styles & silhouettes ineach of their lines is distinctive.They have blended soft fabric with creative styling accomplishing complex cowls, folds & pleats.
