South Delhi Polytechnic for Women is a pioneering ‘Institutional’ Member of the prestigious Fashion Design Council of India [F.D.C.I]

In 1998, the Fashion Design Council of India was conceptualized as a facilitator and catalyst for the burgeoning Indian fashion industry. Apart from fostering the growth of the Industry, in collaboration with agencies in the Government and elsewhere, the Council’s Mandate is to promote the Industry in all ways. Moreover, they assist and advise members on how to thrive and escalate rungs in the global market place.

The Council therefore, acts as a central node that mediates interaction and the flow of information in the field. It works at creating mutually beneficial tie-ups with other Councils as also Commercial Businesses Worldwide. It is adept on obtaining international recognition and space for Creative Designer Wear in Retail Stores across: U.S.A, Europe, U.K, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE & many more other countries.
