Since 34 years, the objective of this Department is toto serve India's garment industry and help women be independent, in today's society.

The emphasis is on style research, market surveys, pattern making, garment construction, fabric selection & embellishment. The students are also introduced to Computers through different packages.

They are exposed to the Industry and the market through outdoor visits. Students can later be Technical Managers, Co-ordinators and Quality Supervisors, etc.

The course is ideal for girls who want to start their own workshops and boutiques or work in the industry.
