The Art and Craft course enables the students to enhance their skills, in terms of expressing personal ideas and feelings. We lay emphasis upon originality, creativity and innovation. 
    We encourage students, to take inspiration from India's rich cultural heritage. At the same time, the modules are designed to develop one's individuality, as an Artist. Someone, who is able to respond to the professional demands of contemporary life.
      The students achieve the ability to give visual form to their feelings, in both two and three-dimensional  works of  Art. They explore expressions in a variety of Craft.
     The programme caters really,  for  two  categories of Students. Students, who already  have a  background in Art, that is waiting  to be honed and  polished. Newer recruits, who want to discover their creative potential.
      The Department exposes students to a wide range of skills and prepares them for jobs in schools, handicraft  industry and for self-entrepreneurship.
